This policy explains how Garden Maintenance Cork handles personal data under the GDPR.

Business listings

Listings contain business information published by the businesses themselves, such as trading name, location, services, business phone number and website. We process this on the basis of legitimate interest in helping people find local services. Any business can ask us to correct or remove its listing at any time via our contact form.

Forms

When you submit the contact or listing form, we collect the details you enter (such as name, email, phone and business details). We use them only to reply to you and to review and publish listings. We keep form submissions for up to 24 months.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.

Analytics and cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the directory is used: which pages are visited, what people search for, and how often they call or visit a listed business's website. This helps us improve the site and show listed businesses how much interest they receive. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years, and Google processes this data on our behalf. We don't use advertising cookies or sell data.

Google Analytics only loads if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Form submissions

Listing and contact form submissions are delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, which processes them on our behalf.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by contacting us. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
